DescriptionMaps sections and book of references for a proposed railway commencing near the junction of the North Union Railway with the Liverpool and Manchester Railway at Parkway Station [not shown] in the township of Lowton and then passing generally south easterly through the Lancashire townships of Newton in Makerfield, Southworth with Croft, Culcheth, Risley, Rixton cum Glazebrook, and then the Cheshire townships of Lymm, Agden, Millington, Rosthern, Ashley, Mobberley, Pownall Fee, Bollin Fee, Newton cum Butley, Butley cum Newton, where it joins the Macclesfield Branch Railway.
Also a branch line from the Grand Junction Railway 1/2 miles west of Warrington and passing through the Lancs. townships of Warrington, Poulton with Fearnhead, Woolston with Martinside and Rixton cum Glazebrook wher it joins the North Union Railway. [located at the back of the folder]
