Title	Ellesmere: Whitchurch branch to the Chester Canal
Date	1790s
Description	Map of intended canal [no book of references] from the Whitchurch Branch of the Ellesmere Canal at New Mills, Shropshire to the Chester Canal [now called Shropshire Union Canal] at Stoke. Passing by Grindley Brook, Marbury, Wrenbury, Swanley and Hurleston . A note on back of map says "deposited 1809" but this date crossed out and replaced by "1790". Date on front of map is "179-" (last digit illegible). Surveyed by J.Duncombe and J. Fletcher. Possibly a draft survey in connection with QDP 14, 15 (1801)?
