Description	Volume of 2 maps and book of references showing the diversion of the Middlewich branch of the Shropshire Union Canal around the Wardle Junction lock in the township of Newton. Also a 1 inch Ordnance Survey map sheet 80 SE of 1842 showing the location of proposed diversion. Engineer Edw. Hines. Deposited 28 November 1851
