DescriptionMap, sections and book of references for a railway from Northwich to Chester where there are two branches into the city, passing through the townships of Hartford, Leftwich, Witton cum Twambrooks, Winnington, Cuddington, Weaverham cum Milton, Oakmere, Eddisbury, Mouldsworth, Ashton, Kingswood, Barrow, Guilden Sutton, Great Boughton, Hoole and the parish of St. John the Baptist in Chester. Also a branch from the main line at Delamere to Hapsford where it joins with the Hooton to Helsby railway passing through Moulsworth, Manley, Alvanley, Helsby and Hapsford townships.
