DescriptionPlans and sections with book of references (bound in) of a proposed railway running from the West Cheshire Railway at Ashton through the townships of Mouldsworth, Barrow, Mickle Trafford then to join the Warrington and Chester branch of the Birkenhead Railway and then branching off through Hoole, Newton terminating in St Oswalds parish in Chester.
Good street plans showing parts of Chester near the later Northgate Station, i.e. Trafford Street, St Anne Street, Windmill Lane, (later Victoria Road) and Upper Northgate Street.
Also a 1" OS map ref. LXXX SW of 1862 showing the general line of the railway.
Also copy of the Parliamentary Act for the railway.
