Railway No. 1. Running from the Cheshire Midland Railway in the township of Ashley, through the townships of Hale, Bowdon, and Dunham Massey where it joins the the extension to the Liverpool Railway authorised in 1865, roughly 4 miles in length.
Railway No. 2 From the Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway extension to Liverpool in the township of Poulton with Fearnhead, and Warrington where it rejoins the main line, good plan of Warrington.
Railway No. 3 A short branch from the Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway to join the London North Western Railway at Allerton Station.
Railway No. 4 A branch connecting the main line near Taylors Bridge with the Manchester South Junction and Altrincham Railway near Cornbrook Road, all in the township of Stretford, Lancashire. This also shows proposed diversion of the Bridgewater Canal.
