CANAL.
From River Mersey at Runcorn to Salford docks where the River Irwell joins. Also details of training wall between Runcorn and Eastham. Passing through the townships of Norton, Moore, Walton Inferior, Appleton, Latchford, Grappenhall, Thelwall, Lymm, Warburton, Partington, Carrington, Flixton, Barton upon Irwell, and Stretford. Shows the line of the Runcorn to Latchford Canal to be abandoned, sometimes called the Mersey and Irwell Canal.

RAILWAYS

Deviation 3. LNWR Arpley station to a point 1 mile east of Latchford Station., townships of Warrington, Latchford and Grappenhall.
Deviation 4 Glazebrook on the CLR and Carrington Moss (Cadishead Station and Partington Station)
Deviation 5. CLR. between its junction with Stockport and Glazebrook Railway and Flixton Station
Branch Railways.
No 1. From LNWR across Arpley Meadows.
Branch 2 & 3 From CLR between Cadishead and Partington Stations to both sides of the proposed ship canal.
