DescriptionVolume of maps and sections, also a book of references of a light railway network running along the line of existing roads.
Railway 1. From the border between the Borough of Hyde and the Rural District of Tintwistle to the border between the Urban District of Hollingworth and the Borough of Glossop through the parishes of Matley, Hattersley, Mottram in Longendale and Hollingworth following Mottram New Road, Hyde Road and Mottram Road and Woolley Lane.

Railway 2. Starting at the boundary of Stalybridge and Tintwistle then passing through the parishes of Tintwistle, Mottram in Longendale along Mottram Road, Stalybridge Road to the Junction Inn cross road.

Railway 3. Not detailed.

Railway 4. From the Junction Inn along Market Place and Broadbottom Road passed Mottram and Broadbottam Station on the Great Central Railway to the Foresters Refuge Inn, all in the parish of Mottram in Longendale.

Railway 5 & 6. From the Gun Inn in the parish of Hollingworth, along Market Street and then Manchester Road in the parish of Tintwistle and then following Church Street and Woodhead Road to the Beehive public house in the parish of Tintwistle.

Also a 6" to 1 mile diagram of the railway showing parish boundaries etc. and a 1" O/S map showing layout
Note:- Gradients up to 1 in 15 incline
