Note at foot that at general sessions at Chester 23 Jan 1609/10 M Clyve refused to give evidence to the jury saying she had exhibited a bill into the Star Chamber for the same cause "where she hoped to have better remedye". Also Mr Damport affirmed that the Indictment was insufficient and did not contain any Riot nor did contain the names of all the offenders |
