TitleBook of reference [only] containing the names of the owners or reputed owners and occupiers of land, through which the intended canal from or near a place on the Cheshire shore of the River Mersey, called the Patent Slip, situate in the township or chapelry of Birkenhead in the County Palatine of Chester, to at or near a certain lock on the Ellesmere and Chester Canal, being the first lock south of Messrs. Walker's shot works, and situate in the parish of St. John the Baptist in the county of the city of Chester, is proposed to be made, and of lands from which any streams of water are intended to be taken.
