39 - The same on Thomas Fowell, yeoman, who had a fit while working in a field, fell into a ditch and was drowned. - Dec 11th 1696
40 - The same on a female child, born to Grace Ainsworth, suffocated soon after birth in a room of a house belonging to Thomas Bennion. - Dec 31st 1696
41 - John Golborn, on John Smith ,aged 13, son of William Smith, accidentally shot in the stomach with a pistol by Matthew Oulton, aged 12, son of Richard Oulton, alderman. - Jan 7th 1697/8
42 - Ruleston Partington and John Goulborne, on Thomas Spencer, lieutenant in Captain Charles Bishopson's Company, killed with a sword by John Read, lieutenant in Major Humphrey's company, and both of the Regiment of Sir Henry Bellasqs. - March 27th 1698
43 - The same on Arthur Carr, apprentice to John Lovett, merchant of Dublin, mistakenly forded the Dee near Shotwick while riding to Parkgate to embark for Ireland and was drowned trying to return. - April 23rd 1698
44 - Ruleston Partington, on Elizabeth Pate aged about five years, died from injuries received when a cart belonging to Thomas Hall, gardiner, overturned on her as she was playing. - June 14th 1698
45 - Ruleston Partinton, on Samuel Gosly, soldier killed in a sword fight with David Baxter, soldier, in a house in Forest Street. - July 16th 1698
