1 - Peter Parry on Robert Partington, aged eight, son of Edward, fell over the rails of the Rows while standing on a bench outside his father's house in Watergate Street and was killed. - Aug 8th 1740
2 - Peter Parry and Charles Bingley on Daniel Tier, master of the 'Little Prince' of Glasgow, about 20 tons, drowned while trying to get from the ship into a boat, near the Skinners' premises. - Oct 11th 1740
3a - Thomas Duke on Isabel Booth, wife of Richard Booth, labourer, run down by a horse while walking near the sign of the 'Carpenters Arms' in Boughton and died soon after. - 17th March 1741

4 - Charles Bingley on John Jones, soldier in Col Cholmondoley's Regiment, Captain Lee's Company, murdered with a hanger -short sword- by another solder in General Barrell's Regiment. - April 22nd 1741
5 - Peter Parry on Sarah Steward (aged about 18mths) daughter of John and Mary Steward, accidentally stabbed by father when he was quarrelling violentally with his wife. - May 7th 1741

15 - The same on Robert Jones, servant to Margaret Warrington of Puddington, widow, drowned while trying to retrieve some cloth that had fallen off his cart into the Dee. - June 19th 1744

17 - John Francis and George Fernall, on Catherine Edwards, spinster, burned to death when her apron caught fire. - Oct 22nd 1744
18 - George Fernall on ---- Walker, mason, found drowned on the sands near Blacon Point. - May 4th 1745
19 - John Francis on John Joseph, slipped while trying to get into a 'small sloop' near the Crane and was drowned. - June 1st 1745
20 - George Fernall on John Hughes, alias Meredith, a sailor on board the 'Darran' of Dublin, crushed while trying to clear the sloop from another ship. - June 19th 1745
21 - The same on John Edwards, soldier in the Rt Hon George Earl of Cholmondely's Regiment, Major Marriott's Coy., drowned by the incoming tide while he was bathing. - May 28th 1746
22 - John Francis on George Waring, cordwainer, hanged himself from an apple tree. - April 10th 1747
23 - John Francis and George Fernall on Isabel Loyde, late wife of Robert Loyde, labourer, hanged herself from a beam in her husband's house. - June 27th 1747
24 - George Fernall on Joseph weigh, crushed when he fell in between his own cart and another passing cart while going across the Bridge to Handbridge. - Sep 18th 1747
25 - John Francis on Robert Bosier, died from natural causes while in the Northgate gaol. - 28 Sep 1747
26 - George Fernall on John Bishop, labourer, found a cask of spirits in the in the tables while looking after the horses of Samuel Gellion, carrier, and died of an excessive indulgence. - Dec 20th 1747
27 - The same on John Phillips, carpenter, drowned while making a salmon cage at the end of the Causeway above Dee Bridge. - Sep 17th 1748
28 - John Francis on James Anderson, cut his throat with a sharp instrument. - March 23rd 1749
29 - The same on an unknown woman, drowned while crossing the ford from Pudington [Puddington]. - March 29th 1749
30 - George Fernall on Thomas Roberts, aged about eight years, fell into the river while playing with an old sloop near the Crane. - July 10th 1749
31 - The same on Thomas Hughes, drowned when his boat in which he was bringing coals from the Lower Ferry up the new river, was caught broadside on and overturned by a 'great tide'. Found near the lower end of Brewer's Hall Marsh. - Aug 24th 1749
