Description | LEASE for 1 year and RELEASE by Sir William Moreton of Moreton, Knt., to Randle Wilbraham of Rode Hall, esq., ----- His Moiety of 1 piece or parcel of Waste ground lately taken from the Highway from Astbury to Rode Heath and laid into a field of the said R. Wilbraham in RODE called the New Meadow lying before the front of the capital messuage of Rode Hall and containing 1r. 20p. (stat. meas.), and also another piece of RODE HEATH adjoining towards the N.W. to a field called Barnfield belonging to John Brooke, merchant, now in tenure of John Shaw and towards the S.W. to a garden or enclosure belonging to a cottage in occupation of Allick Leake and containing in length from the said garden towards the N.E. 28 yards and in breadth from the said Barnfield towards the S.E. 13 yards on part whereof a cottage and smith's shop are to be erected and also another piece or parcel of RODE HEATH and adjoining towards the S.E. to the bottom of a close of the said R. W. called the Audlass and on the S.W. on a croft called Long Croft now in the occupation of John Smith and running in a straight line from the North corner of Long Croft to the Great Meadow of the said R. W. and containing c. « acre of Cheshire measure, and a also another piece or parcel of RODE HEATH lying on the N.W. side of the Great Meadow near to the site of a messuage or dwelling house late in the occupation of James Plant and Edward Kelsey and containing in length from the garden of the said late messuage towards the S.W. 27 yards and in breadth from the front of the said late messuage towards the N.W. 12 yards and upon which a new messuage containing 2 dwellings has been lately erected by the said Randle Wilbraham, and also a piece or parcel of RODE HEATH the greatest part whereof is now covered with water and called the Lower Pool (4a. of large Ches. meas.) and also another piece or parcel of RODE HEATH the greatest part whereof is now covered with water and now called the Upper Pool (12a. of large Ches. meas.), and also all dams, banks, penstocks, soughs and drains of, about or belonging to the said Pools or pieces of land covered with water, to enable the said R.
