Description | COVENANT to LEVY a FINE by Randle Rode of Odd Rode esq., his wife Elizabeth Rode and his s. & h. Thomas Rode, gentleman, with Robert Wilkinson of Congleton, poynter, James Clowes, naylor, Richard Peever, miller, Hugh Noden, yeoman, all of Odd Rode, and William Croxton of Norton in Hales, Salop, yeoman ----- (1) to R. Wilkinson, the land granted to him, as in No. DBW/L/15/1 above; (2) to James Clowes, lands in ODD RODE called the Cowhey, the Smithie Croft, the Muchells Croft alias Further Muchells Croft, and that poole-stead or poole place lying in or between those 3 lands and also within the Nearer Muchells Croft (being the land of Richard Twemlowe) and to be ditched out from that Croft and also severed from Kents Meadow alias the Pool End Meadow, enfeoffed to him on 10. Dec. 1650; (3) to Richard Peever, messuage or tenement in ODD RODE then or late in tenure of said R. Peever and/or Elloner Peever widow, with gardens, orchards, lands, etc., belonging thereto, and also Dawsons Croft heretofore the inheritance of Thomas Cliffe and/or Randle Cliffe deceased, enfeoffed to him on 26. Dec. 1650; (4) to Hugh Noden, the Moiety of the Boughfield alias Bowe-Field alias Bullfield and also a moiety of a parcel of land called the Browne-shawes together with the usual and accustomed ways both from Church Lawton to the Bough-Field and from a place in ODD RODE called Lumps Mosse to the Browne-shawes, with appurtenances, enfeoffed to him on 19. Sep. 1651; and (5) to William Croxton, lands in ODD RODE called Swinnertons paches lying on both sides of Lawton Brooke, the other moiety of the Browne-shawes, the other moiety of the Bough-Field alias Bowe-Field alias Bullfield, with the usual and accustomed ways from Church Lawton to Swinnertons paches and Bough-Field and from the said Lumps Mosse to the Browne-shawes, and with appurtenances, enfeoffed to him on 19.
