| Description | AGREEMENT between (1) Enoch Wedgwood of the Limes Wolstanton, Staffs., esq., and Henry Meir of Green Gates, Tunstall, Staffs., esq., (Two of the Governors of Tunstall Endowed School founded by Dr. Robt. Hulme at NEWCHAPEL), and (2) Thomas Bibby of Odd Rode, yeoman, to lease to the latter the Beds of Sand in "The Little Broomy Field" in ODD RODE, to dig and carry away the sand therefrom, on a yearly basis, and at a minimum rent of £5 p.a. and a royalty of 5d. per ton or part of a ton of Sand got sold or removed from the said land by the said Thomas Bibby or his agents and 5d. per ton for all gravel, stone that may be found therein and got and carried away.
