Robert Henry Bentley late of Now Inn Hall, Oxford University, esq., but now of that part of Cobridge which is in the par. of Stoke-upon-Trent, Staffs., clerk, and Anne Clows his wife, Robert Fonton of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffs., gentleman, and the Rev. Henry Crawley of Heyford, Northants., clerk, (4) Sarah Louisa Bennett late of Dimsdale Hall but now of Wolstanton Cottage in par. of Wolstanton, spinster, (5) The Rev. John Tyson of Wolstanton, clerk and Caroline his wife, the Rev. John Porter of Newcastle-under-Lyme, clerk, and the said Robert Fonton (which said John Bennett, Luke Bennett, Anne Clows Bentley, Sarah Louisa Bennett and Caroline Tyson are the five children of John Bennett of Dimsdale Hall, esq., deceased), to Thomas Rose and his Trustee, JOHN ROSE of Scholar Green in par. of Astbury, builders, ------ Messuage, Farm house or Tenement at or near HALL GREEN in Township of ODD RODE in par. of ASTBURY and also the lands occupied therewith called the Higher Ebb Field, the Lower Ebb Field, the other Ebb Field alias the Ebb Field Meadow, the Good Grace Field, the Higher Bignall Croft, the Lower Bignall Croft, the Little Bignall Croft, the Long Flatt, the Parson's Hay, the Little Potatee Meadow and the Sitch Hurst Field, but which are now better known as the Salter's Field (4a. 3r. 29p.), The Far Salter's Field (4. 3. 16), The Little Meadow (3r. 12p.)
