| Description | LETTER from "Sk" [Lord Skelmersdale], in wrapper addressed to Randle Wilbraham, esq., jun., Rode Heath, Lawton, and marked "Ormskirk, Dec first 1836", stating he had written on Tuesday [29. Nov.] to Winter-bottom about the Trust concerns and the TARPORLEY Tithes. He had received that morning the "enclosed letter" [See No. DBW/M/M/C/9 above]. He wishes R. W. to deal with the whole matter of the Tithes, as the latter understands it well. He hopes "the effects of Halleys Comet are going off towards the close of the year".
