| Description | Conveyance from the Mayor, Alderman and Citizens of Chester, with the consent of the Local Government Board, to John Douglas of Chester, architect, of a piece of land containing 675 square yards on the W. side of Northgate Street, having a frontage to the same of 48 feet 9 inches, bounded on the N. by property of Messrs. Denson, on the S. by premises belonging to the representatives of the late Charles Brown and occupied by Liptons Ltd., and on the W. by property belonging to Chester Corporation, together with the 3 shops, houses, etc. numbered 5, 7 and 9 Northgate Row, recently erected on the same by the said John Douglas in the occupation of E. Aston and Company, Fleming Reid and Company and Messrs. Denson. To hold the same for the annual rent charge of £140, with the right to redeem the same for £4,200, with provision for repairs and insurance etc.
