DescriptionConveyance from Sholto Theodore Douglas of Walmoor Hill, Boughton, gentleman, and Henry Dew, formerly of 38 Overleigh Road, Chester, then of 18 Percy Circus, King's Cross Road, London, surveyor, trustees of John Douglas of Chester, architect, deceased, and from Norris Alfred Ernest Way of Chester, solicitor, mortgagee of the said John Douglas, and with the consent of the Mayor, Aldermen and Citizens of Chester to William Henry Denson of Chester, J.P. of land containing 137 sq. yards on W. side of Northgate Street, with a frontage to the same of 16 feet 3 inches, bounded to the N. by property of the said W.H. Denson, to the S. by property of the said trustees, in the occupation of Fleming Reid and Company, and on the W. by property of the said W.H. Denson, together with the shop etc. numbered 9 Northgate Row then in course of re-erection by the said W.H. Denson and in the occupation of the same.
Consideration: £2,400 and annual rent charge of £45 5s to be paid to the Corporation with the right to redeem the same for £1,356. 15s. 6d. Plan.
