Description | The election of four new Councilman to take the place of the late and the new Sheriffs, is deferred until advice can be taken, on whether such elections are contrary to the City's charter. Any suit arising out of the rejection by the Mayor and Sheriffs of a writ directed to them out of the Admiralty Court (which is taken to infringe the priviledges and amenities of the City) is to be conducted as a City's cause.
