Description | Petition of John Wildinge, yeoman of the Pentice, stating that it had been customary in his position to prepare a small banquet every Sabbath day before Sermon in the afternoon, for the Mayor, Recorder, Aldermen, Sheriffs and Sheriffs' Peers, for which he received a quarterly stipend, but the custom was not being put in use so that he had at least forty shillings owing to him.
