[Dorse] Ordered that there shall be no fire place in the shop of Mr. Chapman, goldsmith. Ordered upon the Mayor's motion that the Aldermen lately elected give to the City 40s. or plate of better value, and the Common Council 20s. apiece to be bestowed in plate. Alderman Street, having given plate formerly, was excused. Note of voting on motion whether the fine of £5 formerly imposed on Mr. Shone should be remitted or what sum he should have again. It was decided that it all be paid. |
