| Description | Petition of Thomas Chrutchley, Deputy Mace-bearer. Note: Ordered that Mr. Minshul shall allow his deputy Mr. Crutchley £20 per annum from Lady day last to be paid at Midsummer, Michaelmas, Christmas and Lady day, and in case Mr. Minshull fail to pay the same accordingly then Mr. Macebearer to be by virtue hereof suspended and Mr. Crutchley to receive the profits of the tolls to his own use till the arrears be paid and afterwards to be accountable to the City for the same. |
