9 - LETTER by [Rev.] John Jones to Mr. Drake, M.P., Shardloes near Amersham, Bucks. Says that some years ago he was Curate to Mr. Townson, Rector of Malpas. As it is his native county he wants to settle at Malpas. He will be glad to give Mr. Drake a reasona - 1760
10 - LETTER by Ambrose Nickson, Malpas, to [W. Drake]. Says he will send the Accounts by Joseph Britain when addressee says so. Recommends J. Britain for employment. Has agreed to the making of 100,000 bricks. If addressee does not want to build a house at M - 1761

20 - LETTER by Edward Inge, Charterhouse [near Coventry in Warw.], to George Boughey, esq., Tanfield Ct., Inner Temple, London. Says that since Mr. Everard left Coventry he has had 2 persons to take Mrs. Loles Farm, but not on such a short lease as 10 years - 1787
21 - LETTER by Edward Inge, Charterhouse, to George Boughey, esq., Tanfield Ct., Inner Temple, London, saying that Mr. Jephcott will not take Mrs. Lole's Farm for less than 21 years without a reduction in rent and to enter on it on Lady Day. As that day soon - 1787
22 - LETTER by Jonathan Nickson, Malpas, to William Drake, esq., Grosvenor Sq., London. Says that the Rev. Dr. Townson, who had recommended him to W. D's. service, told him soon after Mr. Roylance's death that W. D. had appointed the writer to succeed him. A - 1788
23 - LETTER by [Rev. Dr.] T. Townson, Malpas, to [W. Drake]. Says Mr. Nickson will try to carry out addressee's orders, but is much in the dark as all the estate accounts are in Captain Child's hands. He explains that Mr. Roylance's executor, Captain Child, and - 1788
24 - LETTER by [Rev. Dr.] T. Townson, Malpas, to [W. Drake]. He acknowledges a copy of the rent roll and had at once given it to Mr. Nickson. Mr. Kent should, as soon as possible, visit the addressee's estates, as the last Agent was too indolent to concern h - 1788
25 - LETTER by Nathaniel Kent, Ripon-Hall, [Norfolk], to [W. Drake]. Says that John Croft wants £60 to carry on the business at Shardloes and advises addressee to let him have that amount. Has had a letter from Mr. Nickson saying that all goes well in Cheshi - 1791
26 - LETTER by Ralph Churton, Malpas, to Rev. Dr. Drake, Agmondesham, Bucks. Refers to Rev. Dr. Townson's death. If Dr. Drake is not interested in the vacant living, he recommends Mr. Bridge, a year senior to Dr. Drake when at B.M.C., who has been Dr. Townso - 1792

28 - LETTER by Jonathan Nickson to Nathaniel Kent, esq, Ripon Hall, Aylsham, Norfolk. Is glad his accounts meet with M. K's. and Mr. Drake's approval. There is a quantity of white timber on the estate that can be felled without detriment to the value of £100 - 1795
