Description | ARBITRATION AWARD by Hugh Calveley, squyer, Sir James Calveley warden of the colage of Bunbury, William Wilbram of Wodey, squyer, and Richard Boton, yeoman, in the disputes between Richard Cholmondeley of Cholmondeley, squyer, of the one part and his uncles Randulph and Hugh Cholmondeley of the other part. They award as follows:- (1) Richard Ch. to pay his uncles the annuities given them by their father Richard Cholmondeley, deceased, (2) the uncles to devliver Letters Patent to Richard Ch., Jun. , concerning the Manor of Eggerton [Egerton] and the wardship of Philip Eggerton, (3) all bonds, except this Indenture, between Richard Cholmondeley and the father of the uncles shall be void if preducial to Rich. Ch., Jun. , (4) no more troubles between the parties, (5) that Rich. Ch., Jun. shall allow to Margaret Cholmondeley, daughter of Regis Cholmondeley, any goods or dents owing to said Fowke in the Manor of Cholmondeley, [Text missed out] The arbitrators also award that the said parties shall pay 12d. for the writing of this Award.
