Description | WILL (Proved 11. Aug. 1532 (sic)) of Davyd Morys of Malpas. He directs that he is to be buried in Malpas Church and bequeaths to the said church the sum of 6/8; to Sir Thomas Dod his 'gostly father' 3/4, to pray for his soul; to his master Rondull Brereton of Malpas esq., all his lands and tenements except a close called keyetona in the County of Flint which he bequeaths to Edward Janyn on payment of an outstanding debt of 13/4 to his executors, to be used towards his funeral expences; and if the said Edward will not pay the said sum, he directs the said Randle Brereton to pay him 20/- which he received from the said Edward in part payment of the said close; he bequeaths 2 shirts and his hose to his sister, his doublet to John Palmer, his cap and shoes to Rafe Boswell and his jacket to John Janyn, who is to yield for the same a taper to burn before our Blessed Lady.
