Description | LETTER from F. Dawes Danvers to Charles Caldwell esq., stating that the Chancellor of the Duchy cannot sanction a fresh appointment by the Marquis of Cholmondeley of a coroner for Halton fee, since the power to appoint a coroner cannot be deputed; if, however, the Marquis agrees to him receiving the appointment when it becomes vacant, the Chancellor will consider his application. A note of Mr. Caldwell senior's death on June 30th 1848 is given at the foot. Paper. |
