[1] Richard, son of Roger del Berne and Christine his wife has remised, relaxed and entirely quitclaimed for himself and his heirs forever
[2] to Roger, son of William de Toft, and Margery his wife, his entire right and claim, suit of action and challenge which he either holds, held, or in some way
[3] could hold on all the lands and tenements with each and ever of their appurtenances which he held as a gift and enfeoffment of Christine, his mother, in 'le Mossefeld'
[4] in the region of Plumleyg' [Plumley], that neither the said Richard, nor his heirs, nor anyone in his name or by his right be able to demand or lay claim to any right or claim, action or challenge
[5] on the said lands and tenements with each and every of their appurtenances henceforth of the said Roger and Margery, and his heirs, but from
[6] all action by reason of the said lands and tenements be excluded.
[7] Witnesses: Roger de Leycestr' [Leicester]
[8] Roger de Toft, Ralph de Lytelover', John de Bexton, Thomas the clerk, and others. Given at Plumleyg' [Plumley] on Monday following the feast of The Holy Trinity, in the year
[9] of our Lord 1322.
