[1] William de Littelovere, son of Adam de Littelovere has given, granted and confirmed to Roger de [2] Venables, parson of the church of Routhestorn [Rostherne], all his messuages, lands and tenements with their appurtenances in the vill of Plumley lying within these boundaries [3] namely beginning at the corner of a certain croft of John de Sprowston, lying [......] of the house in which John Davy lately dwelt [now lives?] and from that corner [4] following the high street leading from Forstyles to Plumley Moor all the way to the land of William de Holford called 'le Lyght okes', and thus following the said [5] land of the said William to the land of the said John de Sprowston towards the messuage of John de Littelovere and thus following the said land of the said John de Sproweston [6] all the way to the lane which leads from the house of John de Littelovere towards Forstyles and thus following the said lane to the aforenamed croft of the said John de Sprowston [7] and thus following the said croft to the corner of the same croft aforenamed. To be had and held, all the said messuages, lands and tenements, rents, with their appurtenances [8] to the said Roger de Venables, his heirs and assigns, of the chief lords of that fee by services thereby owed and customary of law.
