Administrative HistoryTransforming Cheshire was a major organisational change programme which aimed to improve the effectiveness of the County Council through 'improving customer service, improving efficiency, empowering staff and being locally responsive, visible and accessible'. The programme was abandoned in 2009 with the abolition of the County Council.
