DescriptionScope and Content\r\nBy W. Minchin, Duchy [of Lancaster] Solicitor, No. 1 Lancaster Place, Waterloo Bridge, London, William Wilson, esq., Norton Priory, near Warrington, saying that, in consequence of W. W's. letter in regard to certain encroachments on HALTON Common in par. of RUNCORN, belonging to H.M. the King as Lord of the Manor of Halton in right of his Duchy of Lancaster, and in the occupation of Sir R. Brooke, he had received directions from Clerk of the Duchy Council to obtain additional information to make a full report thereon. He refers to Lots described in "Map A", i.e., DBN/D/20D/10, 11, 24 - 26, 28, 35 - 37. In particular he wants information about Lots 35 and 37 made with the consent of Lord Cholmondeley and the date and names of the parties. Paper.
