1435, July 11. At Heywod. John Browe, clerk, admitted and instituted. Presented by King Henry (VI) as guardian of the lands and heirs of Sir William de Brereton, deceased.

1466, Dec. 10. At Beaudeserte. The lord Urian Davinporte, chaplain, admitted on the death of the lord John Browe, last rector. Presented by Randle Brereton, son and heir of Sir Randle Brereton, by reason of the grant of the advowson of the said moiety by Lady Jocosa Beauchamp, daughter and heiress of Sir Hugh Cokesey, deceased, patron.

1498, Nov. 28. Grant by Arthur Prince of Wales to Sir Randle Brereton Kt., of the next advowson of a moiety of the church of Malpas, which belonged to him after the death of Sir Thomas Cokesey, when it becomes vacant by the death, resignation or otherwise of the lord Henry Raynford.

1499, Sept. 13. Presentation by Sir Randle Brereton of Malpas Kt., of John Brereton, clerk, on the above vacancy. 1499, Dec. 14 At Chester. John Brereton, clerk, admitted.
