DescriptionDEED OF EXCHANGE between William son of Richard de Hadlegh and William son of William de Bulkylegh, whereby the said William son of Richard grants all his share of BULKYLEGH [Bulkeley] mill, with the mill pool, water and agietment of water, and with licence to raise the said pond, in exchange for 1 messuage and land which Madoc Rubens formerly held, with the increment of 1 selion called le Weylond [Wigland], except a certain piece of waste between le hogh and the watercourse and a small piece of ground between Atfordislegh and Hadleghhurst [Hadley] in BULKYLEGH. Witnesses: Richard de Foulishurst, then sheriff of Cheshire, David de Egerton, Hugh de Bykyrton, John de Larketon, David de Bulkylegh and Mathew de Hulgreve.
