DescriptionGRANT in fee by Hugh son of William de Bikerton to Griffin his son and his heirs, of a piece of ground in the township of BIKERTON [Bickerton] in le Olderuding (boundaries), with a messuage and buildings on the said piece of ground, a piece of his heige of the hawkesherd, a moiety of wasteland of the wodehouse one (boundaries), sufficient turbary for his own house and sufficient common of pasture, at an annual rent of 1d. of silver at the feast of St. Oswald king and martyr; remainder in default of issue to David his son and his heirs, remainder to the said Hugh and his right heirs. Witnesses: David de Egerton, William de Malopassu, Robert de Riddel(egh), Robert de Bulkilegh and Kenwric de Bikerton. Given at Bikerton, the Tuesday in the feast of St. Felix the martyr and pontifex, 1336. Seal and seal tag missing. Parchment.
