Description | DEED OF EXCHANGE between William son of Richard de hadlegh and William son of William de Bulkilegh, whereby the said William son of Richard grants all his share in BULKYLEGH [Bulkeley] mill, with the mill pond and agistment of water, and with licence to raise the said mill pond, as specified, in exchange for a messuage and land which Madoc Rubens formerly held, with the increment of 1 selion called le Weylond [Wigland], except a certain piece of waste between le hogh and Bulkilegh watercourse, and a small piece of ground between hatfordislegh and hadlehhurst in BULKYLEGH. Witnesses: Richard de Foulishurst, then sheriff of Cheshire, David de Egerton, Hugh de Bekyrton, John de Larketon, David de Bulkylegh and Mathew de hulgreve.
