DescriptionGRANT in Fee by Thomas, son of William de Bulkley, esq., William Rydalhurst, chaplain, Robt. de Cholmondley of Chorley & Hugh Cholmondley his son, to Richard de Cholmondley of Cholmondley, esq., of their MANOR OF CHORLEY with lands thereto belonging called as follows: 2 fields called Heghfelde and Stokkyng, 6 crofts called le Cokshotte, le Horsecrofte, Dussehouse Crofte, Gay Riddyng, Puleston, and Baletik, a parcel of land called Netilwode, with one meadow called le Grete Medows, with the pool and wood called Chorley Hey and Oxhey, & with common of pasture in CHORLEY GRENE, and rights of way to all these. Witnesses: Thomas de Wilbram, David Dod, William de Prestlond. Given at Chorley on Thursday next before the feast of the Nativity of the B. V. M., 33. H. VI. of the B. V. M., 33. H. VI. Seals: Red, (1) a bull's head between letters 'T & B', (2) letter 'W'; (3) letter 'R'; (4) geometric design. Parchment.
