Description | AWARD by arbitrators, Richard Carlele, David Dod, Thomas Godefelowe and John Mascy of Wrenbury, in a dispute between Hugh Cholmundeley son of Robert Cholmundeley and Thomas Shaynton, by which the said Thomas is awarded one meese with gardins and appurtenances in CHORLEY, between Chorley Green and the lordship of Cholmundeley, and also 2 fields called Hovaffeld and Yokkyngeffeld [Wodeles] and a parcel of meadow in the Downefeld with all their appurtenances in CHORLEY for which he is to pay the said Hugh 8 Marks, the said Hugh to execute a Quitclaim therefor to the said Thomas, and also the said Thomas is awarded a toft with the lands lying thereto called Ffayrowederacres in CHORLEY and one acre of land in CHORLEY called the Ralfeld given him in an indenture by Thomas Bukkeley and William Ryddalhurst.
