Richard Earl Rivers to Thomas Warburton of Winington, Esq. --- 10 yards square of land in a parcel of land called the Rough near adjoining the River Weever, being in a close called the Bridge Feild in FRADSHAM [Frodsham] as the same shall be set out and meered by the Agents of the sd, Earl and the sd. Thomas Warburton, with liberty for the sd. Thomas Warburton to build and erect thereon at his own charge a warehouse for Salt Rock or Rock Salt only and such as is got out of the lands of the sd. Thomas Warburton in WININGTON near NORTHWICH with intent to ship the same to some foreign parts, and with liberty to the sd. Thomas Warburton, his executors and assigns, to make a wharf or key to the said River of Weever and to cast anchor and bring vessels or boats to the same and to load and unload his or their rock salt only, not exceeding in the whole in 1 year of the sd. term 1,000 tun; to hold from the end of the sd. term for a further 10 years if desired, at annual rent of £ - and 2d. a tun for every tun of Rock Salt laden over and above the sd.
