DescriptionLEASE (counterpart) for 2 lives in reversion by Rt. Hon. James Earl of Barrymore to Ellen Middleton, widow and relict of Thomas Middleton, late of Frodsham, mercer and grocer, deceased --- a messuage or tenement in FRODSHAM aforesaid, commonly called Speed's wherein the sd. lessee now dwells, with the yard or backside cntng. ¼ acre and 4 cowgates in the Great Sinnypoole, 2 of which anciently belonged to one Evensongs Tenement, all which were heretofore leased to one Hugh Speed late of Frodsham aforesd., gentleman, deceased, and afterwards to one John Cooley, late of Gilscroft alias Godcroft, Lordship of Frodsham, gentleman, deceased, as is alleged; to hold after the expiration of the sd. lease, wherein there is alleged to be one life, viz that of Margaret wife of Thomas Mobberley of Kingsley, still in being, for lives of Ellen Middleton and Mary Middleton her daughter, at annual rent of 5/- and heriot of 40/-.
