Middlesex) gentleman, to Thomas Cheshire of Halton, gentleman, Robert Cowper of Runcorne [Runcorn], yeoman, and Robert Parker of Runcorne, yeoman --- messuages, tenements, lands etc:, with liberty to get turves in and upon RUNCORNE Mosse in or near the town or village of MORE [Moore], and all other hereditaments of the said Edward Savage and William Payne being copyhold in RUNCORNE (except messuages etc: in Runcorne now/late in the occupations of Thomas Rounckhorne, George Alcock, John Rounckhorne the elder, Eliener Dawsbury, widow, and Ellen Addeshead, widow, undertenants to the said Lord Viscount Savage, and all other copyhold and other lands of the said Lord Viscount and his ancestors in Runcorne, and except one messuage and tenement now/late in the occupation of Thomas Berchenhed being the copyhold of Robert Coxon, and all lands called boate lands, and all those cottages and inclosure improved from the waste ground of Runcorne now/late in the occupations of Margarett Woods, widow, Anne Pickering, widow, Edward Ellis, William Parker, Thomas Cooke, Thomas Gryce and John Muskett, and except the courts of the Manor of Runcorne and the perquisites and profits of the same which shall be paid to the said Viscount;) to hold of the King in fee farm as of his Manor of Endfeild (Co. Middlesex), at an annual rent of £12-13-6¼, and under the covenants of Letters Patent of 9. Sept. 1628 (in part recited). Cons. £400-15-11. Seals: Red, 3; 1, monogram 'T.C.'; 2 & 3, a cock.
