DescriptionGRANT in tail, by Geoffrey son of William de Sutton, to Robert his eldest son and his heirs by Margery daughter of William de Aston, of all his land and tenement with appurtenances in the township of SUTTON and CLUFTON [Clifton], at an annual rent to the capital lord of the services due and accustomed, and to him and his heirs of a rose at the feast of St. John the Baptist, remainder in default, 2/3 to Matilda his daughter and her heirs, and 1/3 to the said Margery in name of dower, and after her decease to the said Matilda and her heirs, reversion in default to the said Geoffrey and his right heirs.
