DescriptionGRANT in fee by Richard del Wode, chaplain, to Geoffrey de Bredbury and Agnes his wife, for their lives, of half of a certain field called le Holt, both in waste and arable land, lying in the territory of CLIFTON, with its appurtenances, and a quarter of all the lands and tenements which formerly belonged to Matlyn and John le Revesson, with appurtenances, in the township and fields of HALTON, with an acre of land in le Stretemore lying next to the highway, remainder to Robert de Bredbury and his heirs, remainder in default to Robert son of Nicholas le Thrower de Sutton and his heirs, remainder to the right heirs of the said Robert son of Nicholas. Witnesses: John Savage lord of Clifton, Robert de Pylkynton, then seneschal of Halton, William Danyers, John de Burghes, William Merssch de Halton, Peter Janneson, William Lowe. Given at Halton, the Thursday next before the feast of the Conversion of St. Paul, 1 Richard II, 1377. Seal missing from tag. Parchment.
