DescriptionGRANT by Geoffrey de Dutton lord of Chedele to Roger son of the late Robert Lowe de Weston, for his service, of a messuage with the curtilage and croft adjoining, computed at 1 selion, a ½ selion adjoining part of the selion which John Trytun then held in the territory of CLIFTON, 5 selions lying in cultivated land called Skalgrene, 2 selions lying on le Schouelebrodys, 3 selions lying on Radelstones, 1 selion lying on Lythelondes, 2½ selions lying in the wood above le Sourerthe, 2 selions lying in the same wood in le Uvere Gueses, a ½ selion lying next le Oaldefeld, 1 piece of ground lying on Elmerscloles, which Richard Dyngle and Robert Lowe formerly held of him, 1 piece of ground lying on Smalebrokehened between the land of Robert de Bosco and the land which Adam le Hyne then held of him, a piece of ground which Geoffrey de Ianna formerly held of him except 1 rood which Nicholas le cartewrychte then held, 3 half selions of his demesne lying in the further part of Harstandesfeld, 1 rood of land which John Trytum formerly held, butting on the said 3 half selions on the West, and land which John son of Hugh then held of him on the East, a piece of ground then disassarted (boundaries) and a small piece of ground lying between Irpeshul and Goselawe in the territory of Clifton, at an annual rent of 9/6 silver.
