Description | LEASE for 9 years, by Henry (del) Netherton to William Lord of Hellisby [Helsby] and Hawisia his wife and their assigns, except religious men and capital lords, of a moiety of the mill of Lewunsbroc, the term to commence on the Nativity of the Lord, 1307; to hold the said mill, with the toll of all manner of corn and malt coming and pertaining to the said moiety; and the said William and Hawisia shall provide, make and repair all wooden and iron instruments and the millstones pertaining to the whole mill at their own expense, and if the mill pond shall be broken within the said term, then the said Henry and the said William and Hawisia shall make the said mill pond between them equally, and the fish to be divided equally between them; at annual rent of 10/- in silver.
