VII., by John Younge, esq., alias John Somersett, cousin and heir of Thomas Cookesey knt unto all these Manors lands and tenements which late were to John Saint Poire knt in the Co. of Chester or elsewhere in England and one of the King's Horalds of Arms, to Edmund Dudeley, esq., Councillor to the King --- his MANOR of OLDESCASTELL [Oldcastle] alias the MOIETY of the MANOR of MALPASS [Malpas] and the MANOR and Town of BYKLEY [Bickley] with all other his Manors, lands, tenements and hereditaments in Cheshire, and also all those Manors, lands and tenements which Miles Gerrard and John CAMBY late recovered against the said John and Roger Horton at the Shire of Chester holden at Chester in this same year, and also all other his Manors, Lordships, lands, tenements, rents, reversion and hereditaments, rights, uses and possessions whereof the said John Saint Poire was lately seised in the Cos. of CHESTER and DERBY or elsewhere in England, and also all those Manors, lands, tenements and hereditaments to the said John belonging or shall hereafter belong by reason of certain Covenants in certain Indentures made between said John and said Roger; receiving for life an annuity of £11 from Edmund.
