Description	As Chester, by virtue of its position is important, substantial arrangements are being made for its defence-the Earl requests reimbursement for his outlay in this cause. Arms have been drafted in from Liverpool and provisions laid in for 600 men for a fortnight-commands the loyalty of the corporation. Chester
