Description | GRANT in fee by Hamo de Torvil to Robert de Bulkileg and his heirs for homage and service, of a certain messuages in vill of NORTHBUR' [Norbury] which Robert, father (gener) of Wyldemon, formerly held, and also the land within these underwritten boundaries, viz: from WENNESLEG [Wensley] ascending as far as MOSILEG' MORE and thence to Blakepul and thence as far as Solinhac, and thence directly as far as the Heath of Sawnswyk, and thence descending as far as Bardeleg Broc, and so by Bardeleg Broc as far as David's boundaries, and so by these boundaries as fas as WENNESLEG'; to be held in fee and inheritance, freely, quietly, in wood, field with common, and pasture and with all other liberties and easements pertaining to the vill of NORTBUR: and tac free everywhere in the wood of NORTHBUR' for himself, his heirs and men dwelling onthe said land; at yearly rent of 3s. in silver, in even portions at the feasts of St. Martin and the Nat. of St. John Baptist, for all services and demands.
