DescriptionASSIGNMENT for residue of term of 21 years (commencing Mich. 1550) by Thomas Grosvenor, esq., to Hugh Cholmondeleye, esq., ----- the Lease of the MANOR of NORBURY and ALTEHURST [Holtridge], the Mill there, and all lands, tenements, etc., with the appurtenances (as set out in No. DCH/B/401 above). Consideration £8 sterling. The deed refers to the Lease for 21 years (No. DCH/B/401 above); states that Richard Norleye was dead; that his brother Thomas Norleye was his executor; that said Thomas had on 8. Jan. 1543/4 sold, among other lands and tenements, his interest in the said Manor, mill and lands to said Thomas Grosvenor for certain monies paid him. Signed 'Thomas Grouenor'.
