Description | GRANT by Robert de Bulkileg' to his son Richard and his heirs, for homage and service, of all the land with appurtenances which Hugh son of John held in the vill of NORTBUR' [Norbury] with all asserts, both assarted and not assarted, and all the land with appurtenances which Henry his brother held, i.e., that land which William son of Dods held in the same vill, and all the land with appurtenances which Hugh son of Aluane held in NORTBUR', and all the land which with appurtenances which Richard Bonde held in the same vill, and all the land which Kenrod held in the same vill with appurtenances, and one bovate of land with appurtenances which Kenewrek son of Richard held in NORTBUR', and all the land which grantor held in the same vill of Hamo de Torcvyle with appurtenances; to be held of granter and his heirs freely, quietly, well and peacefully, inheritance, in wood, field, etc., in common within and without the hedge, with quittance of pannage in the woods of NORTBUR' with or without pannage, with free cartage of felled timber (cu' libo' cartagio in venditione) in the woods of NORTBUR' to him and his heirs and all men living on the forenamed land, and with all liberties and easements pertaining to the said lands; at yearly rent of 8s., by equal portions at feasts of Nat. of St. John Baptist and St. Martin, for all services and exactions whatsoever.
