Description	The estate comprising Ashley Hall, the Manor of Ashley and farms and lands in Ashely and Hale (c1,217 acres) was conveyed to Wilbraham Egerton in 1840 for £72,000.The release of 30 Dec 1840 (in DET 302/197/2) includes a map of the estate. The records comprise 2 bundles of title deeds (DET 302/197/1,2) and 2 further bundles of leases, abstracts etc (DET 302/198/1,2)
